My name is Mrs. Hanson and I LOVE to teach 3rd grade! I'm so lucky to be able to spend my days with such kind, loving, and thoughtful "little adults" each day.
To introduce myself, I have been happily married for 10 years to my husband, Gary. We are both originally from Colorado. We have two beautiful daughters, Hannah (9), and Brynn (3), that fill our home with joy and keep us on our toes.
This last year we also brought a "hairy baby" into our home named Tebow. He is a boxer puppy that we love dearly and that has turned our world upside down! Together we love to read, go to the movie theater, play with our puppy Tebow, cheer for the Broncos, talk about Disney World, and laugh any chance we get!
One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is reading with my students and helping them find their own individual passion for reading, if they haven't found it already. Together we will read, read, read and grow academically in every other area because of it. Let's have a great year together!
